Veronica Scott graduated from Daytona Beach Community College in 1999 with an Associate of Arts Degree with a social human core emphasis. She received her Bachelors of Science Degree in Psychology from University of Central Florida in 2001. Ms. Scott graduated Summa Cum Laude with Honors in the Major. Veronica then completed the Graduate Certificate Program in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2002 and earned a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology in August 2003. |
Ms. Scott worked as a student intern at The House Next Door in DeLand, Florida from March 2002 through February 2003, where she worked with individuals, couples, children, and families. Veronica worked at "Our" Children First as a counselor for children and their families from February 2003 to December 2006. |
Ms. Scott opened a private practice in Palm Coast, FL, in May 2006. Veronica Scott is dually licensed to provide individual, couples, and family therapy in the State of Florida. Licensed Mental Health Counselor MH #8673 Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist MT #2167 Ms Scott practices in Palm Coast, FL, serving adults, adolescents, and children through individual, couples, family, and play therapy. Ms. Scott is a published author. Her research article is titled: "Does Virtual Intimacy Exist?: A Brief Exploration into Reported Levels of Intimacy in Online Relationships," and it appears in CyberPsychology & Behavior, Volume 9, Issue 6.
